The Finance Department is responsible for providing financial management and accounting services for all city operations. This includes maintaining accounting records, borrowing money to finance city expenditures, investing city funds, audit and budget preparation, supervision of revenue collection and disbursements of city monies, payroll processing and financial reporting.
An independent bond rating agency, Moody's Investors Service has assigned the City of Spring Lake Park an Aa3 Rating. This rating covers the city's general obligation bonds.
Temporary Code Enforcement Inspector
The Spring Lake Park is recruiting for a Temporary Code Enforcement Inspector. This is a temporary 4 1/2 month position. Approximately 40 hours per week. The rate is $18.00/hour. The position is open until filled. Click here for a detailed description and application.
Police Reserve Officer
The Spring Lake Park Police Department has a Reserve Unit that started in 2006. The SLP PD is looking for community-oriented people of all ages, with various levels of experience, and various backgrounds including non-law enforcement. Police Reserve Officers are volunteers from the community who have a sincere interest in public service and the police department.
